On January 8th, an investigation of Brandy Jaynes started after her son was discovered by his father locked in a bathroom extremely malnourished in her home weighing only 30 pounds.

The bathroom was inhospitable conditions, featuring only a single blanket, feces scattered across the room, empty cans of beans and a camera that could monitor activity inside the bathroom.

According to police, "the child looked like he was a victim of a concentration camp from World War II." ^[0]It has been reported that he was locked in the bathroom for at least a year. She faces aggravated felony child abuse charges. ^[1]

The boy is currently recovery in the hospital and is expected to be healthy again in three weeks.
