Brian Eybers is a 21-year-old whose last known address was Arlington, Virginia.

He is a guitarist in the band Face Control.

On October 8th, reporter Steve Crump was doing a report on Hurricane Matthew in Charleston, South Carolina when Eybers, who was sitting on the stree,t started to film him with his iPad with the commentary "There’s a black guy walking around here, no he’s a slave, no he’s a nigger."

Startled by the harassment, Crump returns to record the incident questioning Eybers of what he just said, which he responds to spelling the obscenity on camera.

Eybers then says he has a Constitutional right to free speech and proceeded to harass Crump more.

As Crump and his camera man try to leave, Eybers blocks their van from doing so, prompting Crump to call the local authorities.

When the police arrive, they discovered a crack pipe in his belongings.

Eybers was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crump, a regional Emmy award-winning journalist, said that he has interviewed Ku Klux Klan leaders in full attire who treated him with more respect than Eybers.
