Chun graduated from Pace University with a Master's of Science in Finance. He went on to study Startup Engineering at Stanford University and received a certificate in cyber security from Harvard Extension School. 
Chun has had a long and prosperous career spanning diverse fields. He began as a Merlot internet analyst for ProjectNapa.com where he was a web crawler specialist and moved on to Zoombat Inc. where he worked as a business development consultant. 
Chun pursued his interest in finance, becoming a trade/operations manager for Deutsche Bank for nearly 5 years. Afterwards, he became trade operations manager for all publicly traded securities at Reservoir Capital Group. 
Chun's interest then veered into health and humanities. From 2010 to 2013 he was the COO of TriPainRelief, a company that develops topical analgesics. He then became the Director of Switch2Health, focusing on corporate wellness, gamification, and business development. From 2013 to 2014 he served as the interim CEO for 4Food, a healthy fast food alternative.  
He worked as a partner for BiG HoNu where he helped with mobile applications and technology development. During this time he was also an adjunct professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he taught several entrepreneurship classes.
Chun started working in blockchain in 2014 when he became Director of Blockchain and Hedge Funds at LDJ Capital. He then became the CEO of 4F Tech LLC where focused on improving restaurant technology through a cloud-based API. After that he was the CEO of Jinfu Inc., a decentralized P2P mobile payment startup that's built on the blockchain. He went on to co-found blockchain based lending platform, Moeda. For the next two years Chun served as CEO for Mooti, an R&D think tank specializing in consumer privacy.  
In 2010 Chun became the President of the Butterkiss Company which specializes in technology consulting. Around that time he also became a Partner at Leahi Ventures. He is now the Chief Investment Officer of Shuttle Fund Advisor LLC.
