He had always loved hip hop, counting Biggie, Tupac, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony as some of his favorites, however, it was music from the local scene that really captured his heart, artists like Slim Thug and the Boss Hogg Outlawz and Swishahouse with Mike Jones.
Boston George was ambushed outside his town house and shot in the back after a night of partying at strip clubs, he returned fire and someone wound up dead.
Music
Back in 2012, Boston George was popping molly in Miami and decided that it should be the subject of a major rap song. He recorded something with his homie Chill Will and the track began circulating around strip clubs in the area. Kirko Bangz loved the song so Boston offered to put him on it. His friend Spliff, who does videos for Maybach, managed to secure Meek Mill on the track. He then dropped hisDrug War mixtape and followed that up with the DJ Drama hosted mix-tape,Trappin In Traffic, featuring Future and Lil Boosie on the single, “Rich Off Lean.“ [1]
Boston George says he's got a track from 2007 with both Lil Boosie and Rick Ross that he hasn't released. Since then, he's worked with Scarface, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Rich Homie Quan, and his close friend Boo Rossini. After being courted by labels like Universal and Atlantic Records, Boston George signed with Young Jeezy's CTE World. [3]
Boston George is the Chief Executive Officer of Authentik Music Group and explained how it came to be: [1]
"I had ran out and got a lot of features from people, from like, Boosie, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti… everybody you can imagine, and I went to the studio and realized that rappin wasn’t as easy as I thought it was.
So it was like at that point I wasn’t goin to waste the money on a feature.
That’s when we said, “Let’s go get us some artists.”
That’s when we signed, Killa Kyleon.
That is kind of where it started"
