Blacked is an American online content production company targeting the film and porn market specializing in interracial sex scenes. Founded in May 2014 by French filmmaker Greg Lansky, it is the first company in its conglomerate, to be followed in 2015 by Tushy, in 2016 by Vixen and in 2019 by Deeper.
Company history
The conglomerate Vixen Media Group was founded in 2014 by French entrepreneur and director Greg Lansky, who was then acting as CEO of the companies GL Web Media and Strike 3 Holdings.[1] Blacked was the first company created, extending that its specialty was interracial-themed scenes and films, primarily being African-American pornographic actors and actresses of white complexion. Both Blacked and its continuation companies share the same high-end production style for their films.[2][3][4]
Initially, Jules Jordan Video was the company in charge of distributing Vixen's original productions.
As of December 2018, that position was taken over by Pulse Distribution.
In October 2017, it launched a subsidiary website called Blacked Raw.
At the 2015 AVN Awards, the studio's Dani Daniels-produced film Deeper won in two categories.[5] The My First Interracial series won two consecutive XRCO Award accolades in the Best Ethnic Series category in 2015 and 2016. The studio also won the Urban X Award in the Studio of the Year category.[6]
