BitBoy ** (Ben Armstrong)** is an American cryptocurrency influencer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is the founder of the crypto channel BitBoy Crypto and is the co-host of the Beards and Bitcoins podcast, alongside fellow crypto enthusiast, JChains.^[1]

BitBoy was first inaugurated to the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in the year 2012, when trying to purchase software that had its domain seized and was only available to handle transactions in cryptocurrency, namely, Bitcoin. After recalling he had leftover Bitcoin in his account, a year later BitBoy returned to the wallet and found that his small stash had grown to $3000 USD. He looks back on the event, stating,^[2]

His interest then went from Bitcoin to Altcoins, and in 2017 he was amoung does that benefit from the bull run. He did not, however, cash out in December and learned another valuable lesson. Over that period he was also hacked and decided to help others who could learn from his mistakes in cryptocurrency and the markets.

In January of 2018 BitBoy founded the BitBoy Crypto YouTube channel. The channel has more than 78,000 subscribers and uploads content that focuses on all things crypto-related.^[4]

The crypto news YouTube channel then grew to BitBoy Crypto News, a website that publishes exclusive stories and presents a variety of perspectives on the ever evolving crypto world.^[5]

BitBoy Crypto News offers resources such as reviews of popular platforms and wallets, news stories, and daily price updates on the latest popular and altcoins. In 2018 BitBoy teamed up with JChains and formed the podcast Beards and Bitcoins. The two met up at a crypto conference in Chicago, and after joking about creating a podcast, they made it a reality with their first show airing two weeks after their fateful meeting. The duo is described as:^[7]

BitBoy is also active on TikTok where he has over 2.5 million followers. He discusses current events, popular culture, and cryptocurrencies. He is known on the platform as @factsceo and has uploaded content that includes funny videos about inventions and theories, and commentary on news headlines from around the world.
