Ghaisar worked as an accountant for his father’s firm.

Death

On Monday November 27, 2017, Ghaisar died after being on life support for 10 days. [1] [4] [2]

Authorities pursued his Jeep sport-utility vehicle on the evening of November 17, 2017, because it had been involved in a hit-and-run accident on the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Alexandria, Virginia. [1] [4] [2]

The pursuit ended in the Fort Hunt area of Fairfax County. [1] [4] [2]Ghaisar was then shot by U.S. Park Police after a short chase. [4] [2] [1]

His family stated that he had been shot three times in the head and suffered irreversible brain damage. [4] [2] [1]Ghaisar was unarmed and no weapons were found in his vehicle. [4] [2]
