Big Times for the Crazy Bumpkins (阿牛發達記) is a 1976 Hong Kong slapstick comedy film directed by John Law Ma. The film was produced by Run Run Shaw for Shaw Brothers and is based on the screenplay by John Law Ma and On Szeto.[1]

Big Times for the Crazy Bumpkins is the third instalment of the Crazy Bumpkin trilogy by John Law Ma. It follows The Crazy Bumpkins (1974) and Return Of The Crazy Bumpkins (1975).

Production and release

Big Times for the Crazy Bumpkins was filmed on 35mm color film with an audio soundtrack that features Mandarin dialogue. The Shawscope cinematographic process was used in production and the film's total runtime is 99 minutes. The film premiered on 7 February 1976 in Hong Kong.[2]
