Bianca Bennett was a 27-year-old who lived in Queens.

Bennett was a recruit for the NYPD and graduated from the Police Academy in 2016. Bennett was recently assigned to work in the 9th precinct. She was active on Twitter, posting pictures and documenting her experiences as a recruit and rookie officer. Bennet was engaged to marry her fiance, Michael Coleman.

On February 1st, Bennett and a sergeant, Randolph Price were off-duty and in his vehicle when he lost control of his car.

His vehicle flipped over and bursted into flames.

The incident happened near a pelham bay traffic circle near City Island, Bronx. Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene while Price was taken to a local hospital with severe burn injuries.
