Beth Anne Fouhy (born January 10, 1962) is an American journalist based in New York, New York. She is the senior editor of politics at NBC News and MSNBC. [1]
Early Life & Education
Beth Fouhy attended Mamaroneck High School in Westchester County, New York. She subsequently graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor's degree in English and Literature. During her summers in college, she was a singing waitress and chambermaid.
Career
Her first job in news was at CNN, as a booker for the talk show Crossfire. She was previously senior editor at Yahoo! and a political reporter at the Associated Press .
Personal Life
On September 5, 1992, Beth married her husband Joseph H. Marty.
He is a nuclear proliferation specialist at the United States Department of State.
She is an advocate for reducing plastic pollution and marine debris, particularly straws and bags.
She also enjoys musical theatre.
