owned Medici Shoe Stores, a privately owned retail business with five locations in the New York area that specialized in imported Italian labels. When

Bernie and Itamar came together they soon produced shoes in accordance with their shared high standards of excellence. Itamar

quickly brought a vision of his to life; it was a groundbreaking technology in the form of an expandable, handwoven memory foam footbed. It
