Early Life & Education
Sehl grew up in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
[1]He attended Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 2010 with a degree in Communication Studies.
He also attended University of Waterloo, studying Fine Arts and Digital Media.
In addition, he went to Humber College for a year to study Graphic Design and WordPress development.
Career
Sehl's professional background is in product development.
He has worked at BlackBerry and Apple, as well as provide product design foundations for startups as a consultant.
Kotn
In September 2014, Benjamin Sehl co-founded Kotn, a company that creates and sells essentials ethically sourced from Egyptian cotton.
His focuses entails improving end-to-end customer experience, partaking in roles involving research, designing screens, writing code, providing support, working on our communications strategy, and packaging deliveries.
Ordinary Studios
In March 2015, Sehl helped launch Ordinary Studios through Kotn to help other small businesses build their brands.
This allowed him to work on graphic design and web projects for a number of local, national, and global brands.
