In 2013, when he was 17 years old and still in high school, Ben Milstein invested in cannabis stock. Two weeks later, recreational use became legal in Colorado. [undefined] At the same time, Milstein gained interest in functional glass art in the form of marijuana pipes and bongs. This prompted him to travel around the world to buy sculptural works of drug paraphernalia.

In June 2016, when he was 21 years old, Milstein founded Grey Space Art in New York City and launched his gallery at fashion designer Riccardo Tisci's townhouse in SoHo, Manhattan. [undefined]

His vision is to changing the stigma around marijuana and create a space to examine drug paraphernalia as fine art.

He has collected more than 500 pieces by 80 artists, ranging from $5,000 to $300,000.
