Confrontation With Abolish Human Abortion
Video of Borgman kicking out members of Abolish Human Abortion.
In October 2017, Borgman was in the news for kicking members of the anti-abortion group Abolish Human Abortion out of Bedlam Coffee. The group members videotaped the confrontation and the video went viral.
Borgman faced criticism from the conservative media for his strong language in the confrontation, such as when he asked one of the activists whether he would “tolerate” a sex act between two men.
“Can you tolerate my presence?
Really?” Borgman asked.
“If I go get my boyfriend and fk him in the a right here you’re going to tolerate that? Are you going to tolerate it?”
Response by Chris Connors
Chris Connors responded that he and Ben Borgman had kicked out Abolish Human Abortion since they believed the organization was a hate group. He stated that he had kicked the group out not because they were Christian since they were spreading hate. The Abolish Human Abortion had brought graphic anti-abortion posters into Bedlam Coffee. Chris also stated that the group had a history of disrupting liberal businesses and trying to get kicked out to prove their argument that liberals were discriminating against conservatives. [1]
