Mary-Belle Kirschner (Also known as Belle Delphine, born October 23, 1999), is a British cosplayer and social media personality lives in Brighton. She became a viral sensation when she stated selling her 'Gamer Girl Bath Water' in July 2019.^[35]

BBelle Delphine first became Popular when she started posting fairy and lingerie photos on her Instagram account. Belle is known for writing her fans' name on her body in her photos as well as posting Japanese ahegao photos.^[1]

Delphine has self-identified as an e-thot.^{[11] [25]}

Belle Delphine was born in South Africa and moved to the United Kingdom at some point in her youth.^[12] Unlike popular belief, she did not move straight to London. She moved to Hampshire and attended Priestlands School in Lymington. She had her first job making coffee when she was 13.^[15] She subsequently worked as a waitress in another restaurant and worked six months as a kitchen cleaning dishes after School.^[15] When she was 16, Belle handed out babysitting leaflets to neighbors and describes herself as a nanny for several families in her area.^[15]

Belle started posting cosplayphotos on her Facebook when she was 14 and when she turned on the follower option she grew to over 100,000 followers over the next 2 to 3 years. ^[14]She described her follower base as mostly girls at the time. ^[14]Years later after buying a campervan and traveling around France for a month, Belle decided to pursue a career in the online world. ^[14]When she was 18, Belle decided to move her work to Instagram and began posting NSFW content. ^[14]

On Sunday, June 16, 2019, Belle Delphine made a post on Instagram***stating that if one of her photos reaches 1 million likes she would start a Pornhub account. Many fans wrongly assumed that she would start posting pornography

In order to achieve the high like count, Delphine posted a photo of herself wearing nothing but cat ears, "FUCK ME!" pasties, and black underwear. The caption promised that she'd make a Pornhub account if she accrued the likes. She prompted her followers to tag their friends, and their dads. The photo was posted on Father's Day***.*** ^[40]****** ^[39]

More than 1.8 milllion people liked the Instagram photo. She made good on the promise and started an account two days after the post on June 18, 2019. She posted 12 videos on her Pornhub account with sexually suggestive film titles and thumbnails however the videos were safe for work with no pornographic content. Many of her fans felt trolled and left over a million dislikes on the videos. The most popular video "BELLE DELPHINE PLAYS WITH HER PUSSY " has received 2.8 million views and over 348,000 dislikes as of August 2019. Her account has over 113,000 followers and 9.3 million video views as of August 2019. ^[40]****** ^[39]

Pornhub anounced that Belle Delphine most the most popular celebrity searches on the platform with searches for her name rising over 7798% within days of the Pornhub stunt. She brought in more than 30.9 million searches, ranking higher than both Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Nicki Minajand Miley Cyrus. Her account on Pornhub has more than 30,000 followers. ^[58][59]

Shortly after the Pornhub stunt, Delphine found that people were often commenting that they would like to "drink your bath water" on her posts. She began selling her bath water for $30 a cup on her online shop.

This was a wild success, with over 500 cups sold within two days. The cups of water were then sold on eBay with bids as high as $15,000 before the auctions were shut down. ^[27]****** ^[28]******

The stunt even inspired copycats like Japanesestreamer Meowko, who sold bathwater to her Twitch followers. ^[53]

In June 2019, Belle uploaded a video to her Youtubechannel called "Meet my best friend." In the video, Belle goes through a number of activities with a dead octopus with googly eyes attached to it, including: drawing, reading, cooking, listening to music, swiping on Tinder, taking a bath, playing games, watching movies, and brushing teeth. ^[55]

In July 2019, Belle Delphine sent a mystery box to Ethan Klein of h3h3Productions. Belle got in contact with Ethan after he made a video covering Belle Delphine and her stunts and suggested that she should start selling her farts in jars. Belle Delphine enjoyed the video and sent him a direct message asking for his adress so she could send him a mystery box. On July 21, 2019, Ethan opened the mystery box revealing that it contained a jar of Delphine’s own spit, which she proved by recording a video of herself spitting into it, placing the video in a micro USB drive that had been taped to the inside of Klein’s special package. Klein appeared to be both bemused and shocked by the odd video, noting that Delphine had placed “a lot of spit” into the jar. “So she’s just drooling into a cup,” Klein said of the video. “Lots of drool....Oh my god, there’s no way! Did she drool that much?” The mystery box also contained a custom-made ballcap that read, “I own Belle Delphine’s spit,” along with a Stuart Little themed copypasta hand-written on the back of an art print. ^{[42] [41]}

On October 7, 2019, Belle shared a photo on Twitter that she claimed was a mugshot, complete with makeup smeared face and the caption, "I got arrested lol." The mugshot pic came after speculation and conspiracy theories raged over her absence from social media. The mugshot that Delphine posted is stamped "Metropolitan Police."^[47][49]

In the next post she claimed, "I stg this girl came to my party and stole my hamster.

I have no idea why, or who tf does that?

I spray painted the fucc out of her car and got arrested, at least I got my hamster back.

So far, the Metropolitan Police have not confirmed or denied Delphine’s account.^[47][49]

As of July 2019, Belle had over 4 million followers on her Instagram.

However, Belle's Instagram account was deleted because she violated community guidelines by posting a photo that was too risque. ^[30] She returned back to social media in June 2020.^[60]

As of June 2020, Belle Delphine has over 1.17 milliom subscribers on YouTube and her channel has more than 36 191 496 video views. Her most popular video "Meet my best friend " has over 8.1 million views.

She also has over 833,000 followers on Twitter. ^{[38] [25]}

After being bombarded with questions about where she’d been on Twitter, she shared a snap of herself without her signature cosplay, with a leg in a cast, and another of her arm in a sling. ‘Why was I gone for so long?’ she asked. ‘Well I wanted to come back earlier but I suppose jumping off a roof into a kids paddling pool wasn’t a good idea so I guess I had to stick with the rap video.’ When a follower asked: ‘Why would you even attempt that,’ she simply quoted her own comeback video, answering: ‘Because im Dumb, stupid and Dumb.’ ^[60]

In her new bizarre rap video, she referenced the death rumours that surrounded her last year.

‘You were thinking I died?

B***h, surprise/I still got the double thicc thighs, French fries,’ she declared. Sharing the video to Twitter, she simply wrote: ‘I’m…b..back ???’ ^[60][63]

She aslo joined OnlyFans with subscription for $35 and TikTok, and created new Instagram .^[60][62]

As well as her social media presence, Delphine also has a Patreon account with over 3,415 current subscribers as of August 2019. Belle offers multiple different membership tiers .

On July 15, 2020, Delphine uploaded a short video advertising her Gamergirl Condoms saying, "Rise up Gamerboys.

It's time to get your Gamergirl Condoms," and then proceeded to blow one up and let it go.

The video on Twitter also said, "If you’re watching this video you’ll never need them anyway."

The condoms are described as "Pink lubed latex condoms for when you have the urge to "rise up" ^_-" and are sold for $10 each.

The condoms arrive in white wrappers, sporting an Xbox controller design, and the Gamergirl Condom brand.^[65]

Belle's eccentric personality, colorful style, and outrageous actions have spawned countless memes. In September of 2018, Belle posted a photo on Instagram of herself wearing elf ears while making an ahegao face. ^[31] The memeable picture earned more than 30,000 likes and she went on to make the face a recognizable part of her image.

In mid-June of 2019 she posted an image of herself all curled up in a refridgerator with the caption: "What would you do if you found me in your fridge?" and the internet had a field day with it.

In 2018, someone made a Youtube video of themselves splicing together portions of her unmade face from makeup tutorials, which lead to all sorts of mean-spirited memes. Afterwards, pictures of Belle Delphine without makeup began circulating to show that she looks normal sans cosmetics. ^[52]

In October of 2019, doppelganger Caitlin 'Zayka Princess' Harley popped up on Twitch with an almost identical look. When asked if she admired Belle Delphine, Harley responded by saying: "People assume any girl with pink hair on the internet is Belle Delphine or worships Belle Delphine." ^[54]
