BARI AND TORY: Bari Mattes, who was a senior adviser to New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, joined the Tory Burch Foundation as president Monday.

She succeeds Terri McCullough and will oversee all programs, operations and fund-raising efforts for the foundation, which supports women entrepreneurs.

Mattes will spearhead initiatives for Elizabeth Street Capital, which the foundation formed with Bank of America this year, and will hold a mentoring event on April 16 in San Francisco with CDFI partner Opportunity Fund.

“Advancing women entrepreneurs supports countless families and is essential to the health of the U.S. economy, and I look forward to working with Bari to reach even more exceptional entrepreneurs,” Burch said.

The brand is donating 50 percent of the purchase price of the Tory Burch Eau de Parfum Rollerball to the foundation, coinciding with International Women’s Day Saturday and while supplies last.
