BangerBuddy
BangerBuddy
BangerBuddy is a promotional brand and meme aggregator with a large following on social media platforms such as Instagram.
[4]It was founded in 2014 by Nick Filchy.
Overview
When he was 16-years-old, Filchy used $5,000 of his own money to launch an app called BangerBuddy.
[4]Although he called the app "poorly designed" and failed to talk off initially, Filchy saw an opportunity to scale on Instagram and pivoted in that direction in September of 2015.
[5]Initially, Filchy had 10,000 followers when he decided to monetize the account and, in two years time, he grew it to 2.4 million followers.
[2]In addition, the associated BabeBuddy Instagram account has over 487K followers.
In addition to Instagram accounts, BangerBuddy also hosts shows and parties.
[5]In August 2017, he hosted Lil Pump's concert in New Jersey and in May of 2018 had a party with Kirill Was Here.
[1] [0]BangerBuddy also has an apparel line in the works and sells party gear.
