DiAndre Ruiz, better known as Bandlez, is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Philadelphia. ^[0] Although originally a duo, Bandlez is currently a solo act. ^[7] His music can be characterized as dubstep and bass heavy. Bandlez has released music under labels such as Disciple Round Table and Firepower Records. ^[9]

Bandlez was originally a duo between Ruiz and his friend Vishal Bhanderi.

They met on the bus on their way home from school when Diandre heard Vishal listening to “Ghosts n Stuff” by deadmau5 and inquired what he was listening to. Around the time they met, Vishal had recently moved to the United States and spent a good amount of time online while DiAndre was a guitarist in a few bands. When they first started to hang out, they would experiment in spinning everything from Hardstyle to Dark DnB. ^[8]

Years later, they started the Bandlez project together and made some tracks.

Eventually, some of their music got in the hands of Datsik who would sign them to Firepower Records. Under Firepower Records, they released The Heist EP on July 19th, 2017. ^[8]

In May of 2018, it was speculated on Reddit that DiAndre and Vishal split up due to Vishal pursuing computer science instead of music. ^[7]Bandlez is currently a solo act with DiAndre. ^[4]

DiAndre as Bandlez has gone on to release the Spy Kidz EP off Disciple Records.

Some of his most popular songs include "Bing Bong", "Vacant", and "Keep It Trill."

In addition, he has a number of remixes including of PhaseOne, Herobust & MONXX, Sullivan King, Barely Alive, and Getter. ^[9]
