Career
Bandhunta Izzy - Rich Too fast
Bandhunta Izzy delivers dense, lyrical bars inspired by Chicago drill and the street life of his native Baltimore. Surviving a rough upbringing involving drug dealing and street violence, Izzy built buzz with his brother and fellow rapper, Bandhunta Jugg, on their tracks "Bandhuntas" and "Bandhuntas, Pt. 2." As a solo artist, Izzy issued the singles "BBB" with Blue Benjamin Sleepy, "Rumors," and "I Got It" in 2016.[11]
He stated that he was heavily influenced by Chicago rapper G Herbo when he began rapping in an interview with True Laurels, also stating how he grew his delivery
“I was rapping a little fast and people would be like, ‘You rapping too fast.
Sometimes niggas can’t understand you.’ So now I pick up things from different artists.
I learned how to ride the beat differently and give more with my delivery.”
In 2018, Izzy released his breakout album, Code Blue, featuring the popular single “In Love Wit Da Trap.” The next year, 2019, he put out his second release and first studio album That’s Pretty Gangsta Off of that album comes Izzy’s most popular song, How to Rob, produced by fellow Baltimorean Pyrex Whippa.
He signed with Republic Records. His debut mixtape, Code Blue, arrived in early 2018 and featured appearances by Jugg, Young Crazy, Key Glock, and Peewee Longway.
Bandhunta Izzy recently reworked 50 Cent's controversial single "How to Rob" by updating it with a new beat and name-dropping some of the hottest rappers of today. The focus of the original 1999 song by Fif made a stir by featuring the then-hungry young rapper calling out rappers like Ol' Dirty Bastard and Slick Rick by any means. Izzy channeled that same energy, and even got D-Dot on the track, who also appeared on Fif's version. [12]
Izzy was inspired by Fif's demeanor and how he moved like he was untouchable by fearing no one.
"I chose to do the 'How to Rob' because I really liked the way you carried the whole situation," Izzy, speaking straight to 50 Cent.
"You basically bullied your way in the game.
You just showed you don't care and I feel that's how people look at me."
Capturing that same energy of never holding back was instrumental in Izzy's version of "How to Rob."
Associations
Izzy is acquainted with Young Moose.

Baltimore rapper, Bandhunta Izzy and Zonnique began dating in 2018 and Zonnique shared that now they both live together.
And while she shared that it’s challenging dating a fellow artist, her mother has shared some advice from experience.
“My mom gives me a lot of great love advice.
I go to my mom about all of my love situations.
She says—my grandma says the same thing, ‘You just have to know who you’re willing to go through the problems with, not just the happy times.
Which is what I’m used to.
I’m not used to heartbreak and staying in a relationship.
Like, ‘Okay, he hurt me.
So now I’m ready to go.’ And my mom’s like, ‘You know if you feel like you want to go then maybe they’re not the person for you.
But if you feel like you want to fight for it, then you fight for it.’ [8]
On August 4, 2020, Zonnique revealed that she and Bandhunta Izzy are expecting their first child together.[28]
Izzy’s already father to two children.
It’s unclear who Izzy shares his daughter, Skye and son with.
The rapper has shared photos and videos with his two children on Instagram, including photos from their birthdays in 2020. His son turned 3 in January and his daughter turned 5 in May. Izzy has not named his son on social media.[28]
