Baby Brianna, Brianna Mariah Lopez, was a 5 month old baby who died from sustained abuse in 2002 that CNN called the worst in U.S. history, from her family members icluding her father, uncle, mother and grandparents, who knowingly let it go on.

The sentence for her mom so shocked the public that a new law was passed and named in the baby Brianna's honor.

Her mom is now out on parole despite the horrific crimes done to her young daughter.
