Early Life and Education
Moshiri was born in London to two prominent Iranian exiles, journalist Nazenin Ansari and businessman Farhad Moshiri . Moshiri graduated from the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in 2008 with a Baccalauréat in Economics and Sociology , and went on to attend Duke University , from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Political Science in 2013. While a student , Moshiri undertook internships at FTI Consulting and Finsbury.  
Moshiri worked as a consultant for FTI in New York from 2014 to 2016 while taking night classes in journalism at New York University . Moshiri returned to the United Kingdom in 2016 to transition to journalism, first at the Press Association where she was an election results taker for the Brexit referendum and then a trainee journalist. After completing work placements at the Trinity Mirror and the BBC , Moshiri joined the staff of CNN International in early 2017 on a training contract during which she worked on Amanpour. and The World Right Now with Hala Gorani , and was promoted to producer on Amanpour. at the conclusion of the contract.
