Ayanda Thabethe (born March 18, 1986) is a South African television personality, model and actress. She began her career as TopTV’s Top Entertainment show co-host. Early life
was born on 18 March 1986 in Ntuzuma, Durban in KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. She has a sister named Lungile Thabethe. She attended and matriculated from Sacred Heart Secondary School, Verulam, therefter she studied towards BCOM Communication Management degree at the University of Pretoria and graduated in 2007 and later did her Honours Marketing degree from the University of South Africa graduating in 2011.
Career
Along with Top Billing (TV show), Thabethe has hosted for the DStv channel E! Africa.
In 2016 she made her screen acting debut as Aliyah, a stripper and pole dancer, in the fourth season of the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville (TV series).
In September 2016 she began co-hosting (with Nandi Madida) the BET International entertainment magazine show BET A-List, in which the presenters unpack fashion, music, movies and more, covering red carpet events and interviewing A-Listers from home and abroad.
