Personal Life
Awez Darbar was born in 1993 in Mumbai to mother Farzana Darbar.
He has a younger sister named Anam who is often featured alongside him in his social media posts.
Education & Career
He attended an all-boys school, St. Stanislaus High School. He then continued on to the University of Mumbai where he often choreographed college stage productions.[19]
He is a choreographer who has collaborated with actors like Aashika Bhatia, Mr. Mnv, Unnati Malharkar, etc for TikTok videos. He created the Abu Zada dance challenge on TikTok.
He has been passionate about dancing and choreography since his college days and has worked at the Shiamak Davar Dance Institute as a teacher.
He is the founder of dance company Ace Productions.
He started his journey as a dancer at college festivals, which he says has played a huge role in expanding his creativity on the stage.
He’s performed with famous dancers at Shiamak Davar International and was selected as an instructor for the institute.

Darbar's Youtube channel has over 1.9 million subscribers. His first video uploaded on the platform was in 2015 and featured Awez dancing to "Freak" by Steve Bays. The most-viewed video on his channel is a dance video featuring Nora Fatehi and Tulsi Kumar dancing alongside Awez, who choreographed the moves. The video has 34 million views and was uploaded in June of 2019.[18]
Awez has been noticed by popular band The Chainsmokers who left a comment on Awez's dance video for their song Closer that read 'awesome'[21]
