Avi Selk attended Austin Community College from 2006 to 2007. He then transferred to The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in journalism.
Career
Prior to joining The Washington Post in 2016, Selk was a reporter at the Dallas Morning News and the Daily Texan.
In 2015 he was awarded a Texas APME Award for Breaking News.
