Avanti Patel (born June 1, 1996) is an Indian singer. She is best known for being a contestant reality TV show Indian Idol season 10. ^[1]

She was born on July 1, 1996 in Mumbai to Pankaj Patel and Anita Patel. Her father is a Neurologist and a vascular surgeon. She is the niece of famous cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle. She is graduated from S.N.D.T. College (Mumbai). She is a trained classical singer and has been taking lessons since she was 5 years old. ^[2]

Avanti started her career with stage performances.

She appeared in several TV shows She participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L'il Champs when she was 13 yrs old. She was runner up in that competition. She released her first solo album - 'Allad' in 2010. She has done playback singing for Gujarati movie songs. She is famous for song Achko Machko from the film Hu Tu Tu Tu.^[1]

In 2018, she auditioned for Indian Idol and selected for the main draw.

The show was televised on Sony TV.

She is working as a Music Instructor and teaches kids.

She lives in Mumbai with her parents and sister.
