Ava Karabatić
Ava Karabatić (born May 20, 1988) is Croatian model, singer and reality television personality, also known with her nicknames "Queen of Reality" and "Queen of Drama".
In October 2019 she announced that she would contest for the office of president of Croatia on the upcoming elections[1] but failed to file necessary 10,000 signatures before the official start of campaign.
Biography
She was born in Split. His father Ivica is interior decorator, while mother Sanja worked as a nurse. She was named after famous Hollywood star Ava Gardner.
Ava Karabatić finished school for pharmacy technician before enrolling into Faculty of Philosophy at University of Zadar. In 2009 she, her mother Sanja and boyfriend Špiro Miličić were charged for attempted extortion of Professor Živko Žižić, her Italian teacher. They allegedly tried to extort 9000 euros from 65-year old man in exchange for erasing compromising text messages between him and Ava Karabatić. She responded to those accusations in an interview for Jutarnji list, where she claimed that Žižić was offering her to become his personal assistant, live in an apartment rented at her name and receive monthly salary of 5000 HRK. When she complained to her boyfriend, he confronted Žižić who offered 2000 euros "to forget whole affair", and Miličić later, without her knowledge, asked 7000 euros more.[2] The trial ended in November 2010 with Špiro, with whom Ava had been engaged, sentenced to two and half years of prison, while Ava and her mother were acquited. [5] The relationship between two of them ended in September 2011.[6]
In 2010 Ava Karabatić became participant in Farma, reality TV series aired on Croatian Nova TV channel. In the same year she made photo shoot for Croatian edition of Playboy magazine.
In 2012 she participated in Serbian reality show Survivor Srbija VIP: Costa Rica, shot in Costa Rica. During the show she created a lot of attention by appearing topless. She fell in love with Serbian model Vladimir "Vlada" Vuksanović who in the end won the show thanks to her vote.
In 2013 Ava Karabatić moved to Belgrade. She participated in VIP edition of Veliki brat reality show.
In 2016 and 2019 she hosted Parovi, reality show aired on Serbian television channel Happy TV.[3]

On midnight December 4th 2019 Croatian State Election Committee received only 12 lists of signatures necessary for candidates to qualify for the first round of election.
Ava Karabatić wasn't among them.[9]
Family
French handballer Nikola Karabatić is her distant relative. [4]
