On June 13, 2017 Austin Jones was charged with two counts of the production of child pornography in federal court in Chicago. Each count carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars if convicted. The charges stem from Austin coercing two 14-year-old fans into send him sexually explicit videos on social media.
Since 2015, many underage girls have come forward with similar experiences where Austin asked them to twerk and send sexually explicit videos.
One former fan, Ashley Loo posted a video on Twitter where he tries to get her to twerk for him when she was underage. When she posted the video on Twitter, Austin panicked and called her many times trying to get her to take it down. He also tried to get a girl named Brianna Lynn to send him videos of her twerking when she was 13-years-old. [1]
Fellow YouTube star Damon Fizzy had called Jones out about his inappropriate interactions with underage fans.
A criminal complaint unsealed in June 2017 alleged Jones had online conversations with two 14-year-old female fans identified as Victim A and B in which he manipulated and groomed into sending sexually explicit videos of themselves, dancing, showing their genitals, and masturbating.
In one chat last month, Jones told one girl — identified as Victim A — to dance in a sexually suggestive manner and "make it clap super loud and talk about your age the whole time," according to the complaint.
Austin Jones told the other Victim B in a Facebook chat that, “If you’re lucky, maybe I’d let you suck my dick.”
He also told her that she was, "so lucky" to have his attention and needed to "prove" she was his biggest fan, according to the complaint.
At one point, he instructed her to remove her underwear.
