Atul Khekade (born 1982) is an Indian IT engineer, Entrepreneur, Investor and Blockchain personality. He is co-founder of Xinfin Network , a Singapore based hybrid Blockchain network. He has vast experience in technology and has worked with many Top Asian Banks. [1][5]
Early Life & Education
Atul was born and brought in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He completed schooling Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, Mumbai. He studied at Government Polytechnic, Mumbai and obtained a Diploma in Computer Science in 2000. He attended Sardar Patel College of Engineering and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology in 2003.[2][3]
Career
After completing graduation, Atul joined software company i-Flex as a software engineer. He worked there for a year and then left it to start his big venture, Innovation Trip in 2005. He planned meticulously for a year about the project and during that period he and his friend Anand Chatbhar started small enterprise. Under that they used to code and developed applications for the Web, writing software programs and selling them to companies. This is what he said about his experience:
" It was very difficult at that time to squeeze out our rightful payments from clients -- while it was a profitable venture, we had to push to receive dues for anything that we did.
That was sort of a grounding for me to start my next enterprise, Innovation Trip."
Innovation Trip
In 2006, he founded Innovation Trip - Executive Education company.
It started as event model and used to take corporate executives from all over the world to countries like the US, Australia and Latin America and have them train and interact with innovators abroad.
They arranged tours to various companies, facilitated their interaction with innovators in these organizations and help them to exchange ideas.
These executives had the guidance of executives from top companies like Hewlett-Packard, ideo, Pitney Bowes and many others. In 2008, Innovative trip was expected to generate revenues of $250,000 by December. Atul was featured in Businessweek Online list for Top entrepreneurs in Asia under 25 in 2009.[3][4]
Since 2005, he has been a partner in the Finance Netz capital Advisory, an asset management, financing and investment fund advisory for mass market global businesses.
MonetaGo
He is also one of the founding memberS of MonetaGo India, a financial technology solutions provider that creates proprietary digital platforms for financial institutions to address the needs and unlock the value of disparate information spread across multiple organizations and data silos.
He was also Managing Director of India division.[23]
He led the formation of the first production blockchain network for a consortium of Indian banks and financial institutions for fraud prevention in the Trade Finance industry.
He also guided the first PoC executed with Reserve Bank of India. [22] SWIFT India teamed up with MonetaGo to connect the same fraud prevention network to the SWIFT Network which was initiated and signed under Atul.
XinFin Network
In 2017, He moved to Singapore and co founded XinFin Network.
It is a hybrid blockchain technology which powered by KYC enforced Dpos (Delegated-Proof-Of-Stake) Governance driven master nodes making it the most suitable and enterprise-friendly public network for Financial Instruments. He is currently working for ecosystem development of the project. XinFin Network currently has market capital $90,836,151 USD and ranked 225th on coinmarketcap. In the same year he founded Fintech & Tech Fund which raised for Post Coronavirus #Covid19 economy powered by Blockchain Technology. [1][21]
TradeFinex
He is also co-founder and ecosystem developer of the blockchain powered exchange marketplace for Financial Instruments and Tools known as TradeFinex.
The company ports digitized legacy financial instruments between a buyer and a seller to an immutable blockchain based identity so that it is fraud prevented, uniquely and genuinely digitized and counterparty risk mitigated through regulated secondary markets across the world.
It helps Broker dealers, asset managers, real money clients, banks and financial institutions to trade instruments of global trade finance such as receivables, payables, bonds and guarantees.
