Allen Sherrod (born on June 5, 1993) popular known as ATown is an Instagram celebrity famous for what he calls his birdcall. He has accumulated a number of celebrity friends such as Snoop Dogg and Meek Mill. ^[1] He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

ATown created in 2008 a YouTube Channel^[8] where he posts his music videos and showcase his rap skills. His manager, Snacks, his brother, helped him to increase his fame online. ATown said during an interview:

ATown became an Instagram celebrity, with over 830,000 followers on the social media platform. His Instagram videos typically depict him and his big brother hanging with – Chris Brown (an American singer and actor who signed with Jive Records in 2004), Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and more. ^[2]

When ATown visited Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School in Philadelphia, he sang his “birdcall,” even getting the student’s grades 5 to 8 to join in the musical fun.

With his large Fanbase, ATown has been traveling all over the US and making paid appearances in different clubs.

ATown and his mom went on Instagram and posted a video where they aired out all the dirty laundry in what really went down in his career. ATown and his Mom revealed that his former manager Snacks^[3] stole all of his money. Snacks even sold ATown's Instagram account which had 1 Million plus followers to Kicktronics for $15,000 dollars. Town and his Mom say Snacks was angry when Town told him he did not want to work with him anymore so to be spiteful he sold his biggest asset his Instagram account. Its been rumored that Snacks over the years stole over $350,000 from ATown.

ATown earns most of his income from paid appearances hosting at different clubs, sponsors, and advertisements on his YouTube channel. Even in the present day, earnings on YouTube are difficult to calculate since they depend on so many things, but, on average, 1,000,000 views on YouTube bring close to $2000. Keeping this in mind, ATown has an estimated net worth of $0.2 million.

ATown's Instagram account atown0705 earned over 950,000 followers before it was disabled. He then re-launched the account and has earned over 30,000 followers. He has now recovered his Instagram account (atown_0705official )^[4]

He enjoys watching Cartoon s and movies and counts Scarface (a 1983 American Crime film written by Oliver Stone and directed by Brian De Palma) as his favorite flick.
