AtheneWins is a gaming/sketch comedy turned gaming activism YouTube channel.

The first video, entitled "Best Paladin of The World pwning nubs on My Heart Will Go On from Celine Dion (ATHENE #1)", was uploaded on October 11, 2007, and was the world's first introduction to the brash, cocky, and irreverent character "Athene", the "best paladin in the world".

Athene rose to fame by climbing to the top of the arena ladder in World of Warcraft and bragging about his success along the way.

Athene was accompanied by his crew, consisting of "Furious O.G.", "Reese", and his girlfriend Tania.

The "oldschool" Athene videos revolving around World of Warcraft arena and other MMOs ended in roughly 2011.

His next big conquest was PokerStars.net, and as a publicity stunt to broadcast his new quest of becoming an online pro, he played over 1 million hands of poker in a month.

By about early 2013, the main focus of the channel became the movement "Gaming for Good".

He brought together gamers on the streaming platform Twitch for the purpose of taking revenue brought in by gaming and using it for charitable causes.

Presently, that is still the main focus of the channel, with videos uploaded about twice a week updating viewers on the day to day affairs of the movement.
