Astrid Cristancho Gruber (June 6, 1966), is a former Venezuelan television actress and model.[1] She rose to fame after participating in Miss Venezuela 1987 as a candidate representing the state of Amazonas and went on to star in several telenovelas throughout the 1990s.
Biography
Gruber was the partner of Gabriel "El Chamo" Fernández, with whom she had two daughters.
She is the mother of actress Scarlet Gruber, and sister of actress and model Carolina Cristancho.[2]
She currenlt lives in Miami, United States and is retired, having last appeared in a soap opera in 2002.
