Asifa Bano was an 8-year-old Muslim girl Nomad from Jammu & Kashmir, India. ^[3]

Bano was last seen alive on January 10, 2018.

Her family couldn't trace her after searching the entire area.

Her body was found in bushes in Kathua village, more than a kilometre from her home. ^{[2] [1] [0]}Police officials said she was held captive and sedated at a temple in Kathua. In April 2018, retired government official Sanji Ram was one of the accused who was arrested for gang-raping and murdering Asifa Bano. ^[4]

She had injuries to face and body.
