Ashlynn Alexander is an American Actress based in New York City. ^[15]

Ashlynn studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and has called The Big Apple home ever since. ^[15]

Represented by Albert Bramante at Emerging Talent Agency, she has been a part of several film and television productions as an Actress as well as a body double. ^[15]She has co-starred in the The Detour, Gotham, Boardwalk Empire, and in Jason Bateman's The Family Flang. ^[5]

In September, 2015, when the call sheet for the filming of the show,*The Affair,*was released for everyone to see, Ashlynn's character was singled out as "Alison Sexytime Double". ^[18] Normally, the call sheet would say, "Alison body double". Ashlynn felt humiliated by what was read. She was demeaned in front of everyone on set. ^[19]

When she confronted the assistant director about the call sheet, according to the lawsuit documents he, “admitted that his language on the call sheet was inappropriate and then belittled Ms. Alexander, stating that she could be easily replaced.”

She was fired a week later.

According to the reason the production fired her: “she did not have a good hair match with Wilson and ‘The Affair’ was looking for someone else to fill her former role”, which appears to be inaccurate since Ashlynn was used to wearing a wig for the duration of her work as the one of the main characters' body double, without any problems.

She had been a part of the of show as the body double since October of 2013.

Alexander is suing Possible Productions, the assistant director, and Showtime Pictures Development Company.

The suit alleges retaliation and discrimination, seeking unspecified damages.
