Taunton Rampage
On May 10, 2016 DaRosa went on a stabbing spree before being fatally shot by off duty deputy sheriff, James Creed, inside of Silver City Galleria in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Two of the four stabbing victims died from their wounds. He started his spree after crashing his car while speeding away from a soccer field where his son and daughter were playing. After exiting his damaged car, he barged into a nearby home where he stabbed Patricia Slavin and her daughter. Patricia later died.
DaRosa fled the home and tried to carjack a young man stopped at the crash scene.
He got back into his damaged car and sped off to the mall about a mile away.
He then crashed his car into the front entrance of Macy's at the Silver City Galleria. He went inside Macy's and punched and assaulted several female employees. He then ran into a MetroPCS store inside the mall and started a fight with an employee. He then went into Bertucci's restaurant in the mall and took a steak knife from the service counter area and stabbed two more people, injuring a pregnant waitress, and killing 56 year old George Heath, a teacher at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, who was dining in the Taunton Massachusetts Bertucci's with his wife Rosemary Heath.
George Heath died while trying to grab Arthur's knife and save Sheenah Savoy, the pregnant waitress at Bertucci's. Sheenah Savoy was stabbed multiple times in the back by Arthur. Due to help from George Heath and Deputy James Creed, Sheenah Savoy survived the stabbings at the scene of the incident with DaRosa. She is currently in serious condition and her baby is okay according to her sister.
