Arese Ugwu is a finance expert ,as well as founder and also the Chief executive officer of Smart Money Africa, a platform that aims at financial liberation ,other than self promotion.
Personal
Education
After successful completion of her Primary and Secondary School education she went further to attend Aston Business School in Birmingham where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business management. Later on, for her Master's degree she attended University College London and graduated with a Master's degree in Economics Development from University College London (UCL).
Relationship
She is married and has a daughter named Zikora and three siblings.
Career
Arese Ugwu is currently gainfully employed at Partnership Investment Finance where she serves as the Head of Wealth management. Being saddled with the responsibility to grow Customer base and raise the Wealth management division of the company. [12]
Having garnered eight years of experience in the field of Finance she also holds the post as Non-executive director of about three companies; Partnership securities Ltd, The Higher Education Foundation and Tara International Ltd. She has also been involved since 2015 with WIMBIZ as an Associate Member.[14]
Due to her determination to help young females make proper financial and Investment decisions as wagered by experts she founded a Finance platform called Smart Money Africa. [15]
The aim of Smart Money Africa is basically to being Africans out of the dark world of Poverty ton a world where there is proper illumination on that financial decisions. She does this through the media, by organizing workshops and also by using basic and simple methods the people can relate to bring financial freedom to their doorstep. Under Smart Money Africa she also founded Smart money travel an agency that brings comfort and luxury at low budget cost to travelers. [16]
“The response has been Phenomenal! Even in my dreams, I didn’t expect the response to be this big. We have been on a book tour, we have been to states across Nigeria and hosted several events in Lagos.
We also had a Financial literacy program for a hundred market women to break down the personal finance concepts to them and I think that was probably the most challenging thing I did throughout the tour”
Arese Ugwu hosts a program, “Your Life, Your Money” on Guardian TV’s personal finance show and also a co-host “Analyse This” on NdaniTv.
