Mr Archil Kekelia is the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

He is in charge of investments, tourism and Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Before joining the government in 2010, Archil’s career centered around banking and energy/utilities.

In his latest private sector role he managed oil trading business with Terramar Energy, a boutique trader focusing on cross-Caspian operations.

Archil’s previous lines of business include investment banking in London, renewable energy in Spain plus utilities and management consulting in his native Georgia.

Mr. Kekelia holds MBA from London Business School and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Tbilisi State University.

In addition to Georgian, he is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian.
