Anupama Gowda (born March 20) is an Indian Actress & dancer who predominantly work in Kannada film & tv Industry. She is best known for movie Nagaari (2015) & Aa Karaala Ratri (2018) and Thrayambakam (2019).^[1]

Anupama was born and brought up in Bangalore. She completed schooling from Sheeba English High School Kamakshipalya, Bangalore. She is a graduate of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology where she obtained a degree in Fashion designing.^[2]

Anupama started her career as a dancer.

She participated in the dancing reality show, Haili Duniya in 2015. She became popular with her performances. She was noticed by TV series producers and soon she made her acting debut on the small screen. She played a double role in the TV series, Akka Tangi,Akkaand received good responses from critics. She made debut Kanada cinema in the film, Nagaari in 2015. Since then she acted in three more films. She played leading character in movies,* Thrayambakam* (2019)* ^[12], Puta 109* (2018)^[13] and Aa Karaala Ratri (2018)^[11].^[3]

In 2017, She participated in Bigg Boss Kannada (season 5). She managed to stay on the show for 14 weeks. ^[10]
