Anthony Venable is a police officer for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Venable is an eight year MNPD veteran and Metro Nashville Police - Hermitage Precinct midnight shift officer.

On July 8, 2016 Venable was decommissioned after he made a Facebook post referencing the police involved shooting in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. ^[1]

The comment appeared to reference to the number of shots in the Falcon Heights, Minnesota case where Philando Castile, was killed in a Police Brutality shooting. ^[1]
