Anthony Milan Ross also known as Milan Ross is an American author and vegan chef known for murdering his wife and two children on Christmas day 2017. ^{[8] [4] [6]}

He had lost a significant amount of weight in his 20s when he switched to a vegan lifestyle.

He then became a chef and started writing and doing inspirational videos about his transformation and new lifestyle.

Ross was also featured alongside celebrities such as James Cameron and Samuel L. Jackson in a feature-length documentary about veganism. ^[14]

On Monday, December 25, 2017, Ross shot and killed his estranged wife and two children in Phoenix, Arizona and entered into a six-hour long standoff with police. ^{[8] [7] [6]}

The unidentified 38-year-old woman was shot shortly before 3:45 p.m. local time, when officers were called to Highland Apartments, 1601 E. Highland Ave. ^{[8] [6] [4]}

Her body was found outside an apartment at the complex.

At one point, witnesses stated seeing Ross rummaging through the woman's pockets.

They asked Ross if she was fine and and he responded by pointing his handgun at them and telling them no. ^{[8] [7] [6]}

His two children, a 10-month-old girl and 11-year old boy, were later found dead inside the apartment.

Ross faces three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, 19 counts of aggravated assault against an officer, and a count of discharging a firearm in city limits. ^{[8] [7] [6]}
