Annie was an American St. Bernard that lived in the state of California who was shot by a Police officer while being loose in her own neighborhood cul de sac. [1] [undefined]

Video footage taken by one of the neighbors moments after the police officer shot the dogs.
On the early morning of November 12th, 2017, a call was made to the police reporting of two large dogs loose in the vicinity.
According to the testimony made by one of the neighbors who took photos as evidence, she was worried that the dogs would be shot due to their large bodies.
The photos were also posted in a Facebook Group called "530 Needs" in hopes that someone would respond. [undefined]
When the neighbor looked outside she found one of the dogs shot dead in the street by a police officer.
The neighbor, Amy, took photos of the police officer.
The neighbors became hostile after the police officer killed Annie and found Alegra hiding near another neighbor's yard covered in blood, panting heavily, and still alive. The neighbors did not allow the police officer to do any further harm to Alegra, including an attempt to treat her. [666666]
According to one of the neighbors who stepped out to video record the incident, the police officer shot Annie about 8 times.
Alegra was later taken to Vally Oak hospital in Chico where surgical veterinarians tried saving her.
She ultimately succumbed to her wounds.
The Red Bluff Police Department has launched an investigation.
