Annette Roque is a former internationally renowned Model and current wife of Matt Lauer who left her home in the Hamptons amidst the controversial sexual abuse allegations involving her husband. ^[undefined]

Born in 1966 and raised in the Netherlands to an Indonesian father and Dutch mother, Johanna Struijk, Roque spent most of her upbringing and teenage years in Amsterdam.

At the age of 22 years old, she decided to take her Modeling career to the next level. She moved to Paris where she worked as a Fashion Model and where she would ultimately meet Patrick Lemire, a well-known French modeling agent who took her under his wing.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Roque became a sought after model for elegant campaigns.

She was known as "Jade Roque".

She modeled for Victoria's Secret and J.Crew.

A mutual friend of Lauer and Roque, a stylist by the name of Maria Santoro, set them up on a blind date.

Thus, the two became close and started dating.

After about five months of dating, Lauer and Roque became engaged and tied the knot on October 3rd, 1998, in Water Mill, New York. The two would eventually move to the Hamptons where they conceived three children together. The children are: Matthew born in 2001; Romy born

in 2004 and last but never the least came Thijs born in November 2006.

On September 2006, while still pregnant with Thijs, Roque filed for divorce.

She cited cruel and inhumane treatment from Lauer.

According to reports at the time, the two reconciled and gave their marriage a second chance.

Throughout November, 2017, several women ousted Lauer for being a sexual predator which led NBC firing him.

His desk was dismantled and the $30 million he was supposed to receive as a payout appears to no longer exist.

His lawyers had been working on a payout from NBC that will no longer take place.

On December 1st, 2017, news reported that Roque allegedly left her home in the Hamptons and moved back to her homeland of Holland with her kids. ^[undefined]
