Allegations

Angie Vu Ha allegedly violated a French family court decree when she kidnapped or failed to return her 9-year-old daughter, Isabella to the biological father who has custody of their child.

She was arrested by US Marshals at Kennedy Airport in New York, New York after she tried to fly on a one way ticket with her child to China, with her ultimate destination being Vietnam. [8]

Angie was held at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York for seven months, before being extradited to Paris, France a judge made the decision that she will be extradited on Thursday June 23, 2016. [8]
