[1]Her children are Nicholas, Anthony, and Alicia. Nicholas studied Business law, Anthony studied Health Sciences, and Alicia studied Broadcast journalism, all at Arizona State University. [6]
In her free time, Gonzalez is very active in her church.
She attends St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church is Scottsdale, Arizona where she works as a Cantor. She also cantors at St. Louis the King Catholic church in Glendale, Arizona. [6]Since 2013, Gonzalez has also been a board member of the Latino Media Association since 2013. [1]
Education
Gonzalez received her Associate of the Arts from Red Rocks Community College in Colorado in 1985. There she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In 1987, she received her Bachelor of the Arts in Technical Journal from Colorado State University. At Colorado State, she was a member of the Jazz Choir and worked as MEChA secretary. After graduating from Colorado State University, Gonzalez got a position reporting for Phoenix Business Journal and has worked there for 29 years.
