Andrew Schroyer
Andrew Schroyer, also known as "Corp" or "Lifeofcorp", is an American music tech entrepreneur, hip-hop music artist, and creative director for film and photography.
Schroyer is formerly the co-founder of the popular music messaging app RapChat alongside entrepreneurs Seth Miller, Pat Gibson, and Zachary Schwartz.
Schroyer graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013, majoring in Information Technology and Human Computer Interaction Design.
Education
Schroyer attended R Nelson Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana before attending Indiana University Bloomington.
He attended the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering and graduated with with a BS in Informatics, Human Computer Interaction Design.
Schroyer was an avid athlete while attending Indiana University, having participated as president of the Indiana University club golf team, and also participated in track & field in his early years of college.
He would go on to lead the golf team to collegiate regionals in 2011 [15], and also would go on to win and set the school record at the time for Indiana Universities long standing Little Fifty race in 2010 [7], an event in which a team of 4 individuals run a relay race for 50 laps around the track.
Schroyer would eventually have his athletic career halted in 2012 after being diagnosed with Kienböck's disease, a rare bone disorder.
Career
**** Upon graduating from Indiana University in 2013, Schroyer moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and was a user experience designer and digital strategist at Target Corporation in their competitive Technology Leadership Program, a program designed to develop future leaders and innovators in technology.
While working at Target, Schroyer co-founded RapChat [0]and would help grow and build the company alongside his team outside of his day job and would eventually move on to work on the startup full-time after leaving Target in 2014.
Film / Photography
In 2016, Schroyer would move on to become a co-founder of one of the first virtual reality media and marketing companies in Minnesota called Oneshot Media.
Having picked up a camera for the first time ever, he would go on to have a strong passion for photography and videography, quickly building up his name locally and nationally by filming with some of the biggest names in hip-hop when they would come to perform in Minneapolis.
Schroyer would go on to have 2 of his productions featured in TMZ featuring The Game [3]and Soulja Boy [4].
In 2017, Schroyer would move-on to become a creative director for Floyd Mayweather's The Money Team (TMT) Music Group artist Lil Jamez.
Schroyer would soon later go on to film and direct the music video for the popular hit song "Too Much Money"[1]by Lil Jamez, which featured the likes of popular rap artists Young Thug, ASAP Rocky, Tee Grizzley, Lil Uzi Vert, Rex Kudo, and London on da Track.
