Andrew Pollack is a resident of Broward County. [1] He is the father of Meadow Pollack, who died in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting.

On February 15th, a picture circulated on Twitter of Pollack wearing a Trump 2020 shirt while holding up a picture of his daughter.
As of February 21st, 2018, the photo was retweeted 6.1K times and liked 21K times.
The photo received a mixed reaction, with some people showing sympathy for him while other criticized him supporting Trump.
In a listening session about the shooting with President Donald Trump, Pollack explained and gave his thoughts about school safety, gun laws, and the loss of his daughter.
