Andrew Leung (actor) is an British Actor, known for his role in the 2014 film Lilting and his part as doctor Change in the television series "Dark Water." [2]
Education
Leung attended East 15 Acting School. This is where he learned the finer points of acting, before appearing in several stage productions. He appeared in "All My Sons," "Uncle Vanya," and "Othello," while he was in training at the school.[10]
Career
After graduation from school, Leung was cast in several theatrical productions.
He was involved in the 2011 production of "Trolls" at Theatre 503, and also in "A Leap of Faith," at the Arcola in 2012. Next, he was involved in the Hampstead Theatre’s production of "The Arrest of Ai Weiwei."[10]
Leung has also appeared in shows such as So Here We Are and P'yongyang at the Royal Exchange theatre and Chimerica at the Almeida.
Leung has worked on a variety of television productions including Doctor Who (2014), Dirk Gently (2012), Phoneshop (2011), and Ahead Of The Class.
Leung landed his first screen role in 2011 in "PhoneShop." He was cast in the part of Noel in "Dirk Gently," followed by the part in the Klaus Huttmann thriller film titled "The List," in 2013. He went on to appear in "The Lilting" in 2014. He also appeared in the film "Comes a Bright Day" in 2012, but this was an uncredited role.[10]
Leung saw an increase in roles for the 2014 year.
He appeared in the role of Kim on the "BBC Comedy Feeds" television series in 2014.
This was followed by the role of Dr. Chang on an episode of "Doctor Who." The same year he appeared as Ted in the video short "Balsa Wood." The following year he appeared in the film "Containment" as Sergei. [10]
Leung got a lucky break in 2017 when he was cast in the role of Nick in the television series "Jade Dragon".
This was a recurrent role that would give him the exposure that he needed to viewers to increase his popularity as an actor.
He appeared in four episodes of the series.
Andrew has been cast in the role of Daniel Lynch in the new television series "Queens of Mystery."[10]
In 2019-2020, Leung was also cast in the role of Craig in the television series "Flack."[10]
