Andrew Freundwas a 5-year-old child from Crystal Lake, Illinois.

He was last seen at about 9:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at his home.

His parents reported that they saw him at bedtime but were unable to locate him the next morning.

He is a son of Andrew "Drew" Freund.

Authorities stated they do not believe that Andrew was abducted and are instead focusing on the residence where he stays.

Police canine teams only picked up Andrew's scent within the house.

Firefighters and members of the dive team also searched parts of Crystal Lake.The

Federal Bureau of Investigation has also joined the search for Andrew. ^[1]

On April 24, 2019, his body was found wrapped in plastic in a shallow grave in Woodstock, Illinois.

His parents Andrew Freund Sr. and JoAnn Cunningham were arrested and charged in his murder.
