Andrés Toro González (Pereira, July 5, 1977) is a Colombian actor. He is known for his role as Byron Santana in the Caracol Channel series Sin tetas no hay paraíso. ^[1]

His childhood was spent in Manizales, the city of his parents, where he was a boy of street games, who grew up without siblings but with many friends and as such he feels proudly Manizalita as he lived there shortly before turning one year old, although he was born in Pereira. For this reason several media call him Andrés Toro, actor of Manizales.

Some time later his family moved to Bogota and he entered a military school, where he discovered his acting Talents.

His acting training dates back to 1993, when he graduated from high school and began a career in television directing at the Politécnico Santa Fe de Bogotá.

From there he traveled to Los Angeles and took some acting courses.

Upon his arrival in Colombia, he made more than 20 commercials and continued with his studies. He attended workshops at La Casa del Teatro of Cuban Jorge Cao. Toro's first television appearance was in Héroes de turno, from there he went on to La baby sister, Padres e hijos and several unitary chapters of Siguiendo el rastro and Historias de hombres solo para mujeres, among Others.

Regarding his private life, Andrés Toro married Eliana Escobar, a dentist from Bogota whom he met while working in El vuelo de la cometa and with whom he dated for 7 Years.

He stood out in 2006 for his role as Byron, a hitman in the series Sin tetas no hay paraíso and also for the role of Mateo López in the telenovela, Nuevo Rico Nuevo Pobre. Currently, he plays detective Ramírez in Un bandido honrado Canal Caracol. ^[2][3]
