Andrene went through high school education at Jamaica Arts Center. She then proceeded to Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia for her tertiary education. She studied Communications, majoring in Public Relations, with a little study on Psychology. [3]

From an early age Andrene was influenced by high profile performers such as Whoopi Goldberg, Meryl Streep, Cicely Tyson, and Don Cheadle. [4]
Early career
From New York Andrene moved south and continued improving her acting skills. She became a member of a comedy troupe known as “Strange Groove” besides attending acting classes every week at Premier Actors' Network where she met for the first time, her agent, Alexander White.
TV Productions
Andrene began her acting career proper when she started staring in television productions such as NCIS: New Orleans, Being Mary Jane, and Complications. Other productions she has been part of are Star and indie drama as well as Strange Weather where she featured alongside Carrie Coon and Holly Hunter. She is part of a new musical drama written by Lee Daniels for FOX.
