On Monday March 26, 2018, authorities were called to a home in the 2700 block of Bluewood Way at around 2:45 p.m. local time on a report of two people who had been shot.
Authorities found William Schooley deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Investigators said he had a handgun.
Soberalski was also found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
She was taken to a hospital.
On Wednesday March 28, 2018, she was pronounced brain dead. Soberalski remains on a ventilator because she is an organ donor. [1]
